What Bob Ross Taught Me About Risk-taking
Next week, my husband Brian and I will be doing our first ever class launch for our business, Art Party Unlimited, LLC. We've put so much into learning what to do, how to do it, and creating, creating, creating! We're so excited about this journey and all the new classes we have to offer our amazing painters.
As small business owners, this is a new direction for us. It's exhilarating, yet just a little scary, too. No matter how much research we've done, work we've put in, and good vibes we've sent out, that bit of nervousness comes from the fact that doing something new involves RISK.
How do you deal with risk? We know that for some of you, just the thought of doing something like painting a pretty picture can cause anxiety, even though you really want to do it! It's ok, everyone has those feelings sometimes. The question is, will you let that nervousness keep you down or will you use it as a catalyst for growth?!
Click to listen to Karen's one-minute take on the subject. You'll also get a sneak peak at her creating one of our hot new summer class paintings, "Storm on the Horizon."
Are you ready to embrace the "we don't make mistakes, we just have happy accidents philosophy?" It may be just the thing to free you up to enjoy your life in a whole new way. We would love to hear what you think!
